System Engineers for Ruby/Cloud Infrastructure
NYC based Internet company that has just received massive funding is building an infrastructure engineering team from the ground up. Looking for Senior Systems Engineers with experience building and supporting an infrastructure supporting a Ruby stack. Additionally, the company leverages a cutting edge Cloud environment. Experience with Cloud Computing is highly desired!
This is a true opportunity to get in at the ground level and help strategize and set the direction of the infrastructure for the future! Will work closely with the Director of Engineering deciding how to scale, what to in-source, what monitoring tools to implement, etc. Will strategize, prioritize, set up operational processes, architect and implement. 1st level support will be left to the outsourced vendors.
