hai

when i configure a rails application i have faced with following error

undefined method `[]' for #<Enumerable::Enumerator:0xb63b2e6c>

please any one can help me

undefined method `[]' for #<Enumerable::Enumerator>
=====================================

1) The above error comes from an incompatibility between Ruby 1.8.7 and Rails 2.0.2

2) ruby 1.8.7 has String #chars and its returns an Enumerator Object.

3) Rails 2.0.2 expects ActiveSupport::Multibyte::Chars Object.

so you have to add the following lines in your config/environment.rb
============================================

unless '1.9'.respond_to?(:force_encoding)
String.class_eval do
begin
remove_method :chars
rescue NameError
# OK
end
end
end
